Breaking down each reward
Battle Pass + tier skips
Vault historically bundles one season's Battle Pass plus around 20 tier skips. That lets you jump the early grind and unlock cosmetics faster. The exact season number for MW4 launch is not confirmed.
BlackCell upgrade
The BlackCell bundle inside Vault Edition is the premium battle pass tier. It adds an exclusive operator skin, bonus Call of Duty Points, and a signature vehicle skin. In MW3, Vault shipped BlackCell — we expect MW4 to repeat that.
Signature weapon collection
A set of exclusive weapon blueprints — usually a primary, a secondary and a melee cosmetic — with pre-tuned attachments. Read our signature weapon collection guide for the full breakdown.
Operator pack
A legacy operator with multiple skin variants. MW2 shipped the "Ghost Legacy" pack; the exact MW4 operator name is unconfirmed, but the structure (multiple skins + a finishing move) should hold.
Hunter Killer operator skin
The flagship day-one skin. Only obtainable through the Vault Edition at launch — not sold separately. See our Hunter Killer operator skin guide for what's included.
Do you also get beta access?
Yes. Pre-ordering Vault unlocks the same beta early access window as Standard. Our beta early access guide covers the timing and platform rules.
Operator Tip
If you only care about the campaign and multiplayer, Standard is enough. Vault pays off when you plan to grind the battle pass and want the launch cosmetics.
